Little Witch Academia so far

well guys roughly 8 episodes of filler but also development plot to where we get to know most of the cast by this point since episode 1 and 2 were showing off the Shiny Rod wielded by Akko so episode 11 brings us back to that mystery. now as I said before but if you weren't paying attention to the series or me then I'll say it again. Ursula who is in fact Chariot who Akko idolizes so much thinks about the past but doesn't reveal as to why she dropped out of the face world so suddenly or why the shiny rod was no longer with her and transferred itself to Akko. Akko wanting to know more about chariot asks Ursula while feeling awkward talking about herself while pretending she knew chariot as a fellow classmate lol but anyway this night was a blue moon night meaning Akko was going to use this even to learn about her future when she meets the apparition of the blue moon. Ursula tells Akko certain words basically saying that old meaningful Naruto lesson in part one where there are no short cuts to anything in life as you have to take everything day by day and develop bit by bit. since it's all the struggles and failures that help you become the person you want to be since without failures we can't learn from our mistakes.

coincidentally enough Diana was looking for an old book on the 9 witches cause she wanted to learn something she learned something got sealed away when a rod powered by 7 stars was used and uttered and awoke 7 certain words to use its power. if that's not a hint then spoiler it was talking about shiny rod. as Diana was reading Ursula/chariot was recalling events up to now as Akko awoke the first word in episode one pretty much setting her on a predetermined path of events that are to come and Akko who learned her lesson awoke the second word of the shiny rod locking her into whatever is meant to happen in the future. so now there's 5 words left for her to awaken. Ursula/ Chariot finds Akko as she talks to the apparition of the blue moon who turns out to be an old teacher of hers telling her she must aid Akko in awakening the 7 words of the shiny rod soon and quickly apparently since it sounds like something big is going to happen that will determine what will happen to the magic world of witches. thus ends the episode with Ursula taking Akko back to her room by broom flight as she was unconscious while promising to one day tell her everything but for now it was not the right time.


so as stated unlike gurren lagan and kill la kill, little witch academia is taking a much slower pace to cover the story where unlike those 2 series' protagonists Akko isn't constantly or using the shiny rod but looks like depending where they are going with the story Akko may have to start using it more.
