Rem in a coma

things for Subaru in the light novel are both bad and good. so apparently each of the witches the witch of greed satella absorbed represented one of the 7 deadly sins. obviously Satella was greed. man i didn't pay attention to this trend as late but the 7 deadly sins are really becoming a popular thing to use lately. anyway the one who posseses the power of Gluttony has Rem's memories and something else i forget what which leaves her in a coma. that's currently the case today in volume 12 of the light novel. apparently this current arc is gonna be super long. at this point Subaru has the power of 2 out of the 7 deadly sins but he needs to get his hands on Gluttony to save Rem. so Emilia is giving him all the support she can so he can save her since Subaru won't stop till he gets his Rem back. as stated at this point Subaru and Emilia are officially a couple but the author is aware of Rem's popularity due to how her back story and personal suffering and sacrifices are really big in Japan. remember as you saw the news with Keijo it's not about what we think as western fans but what Japan thinks and right now Rem is a top girl for Re-zero while Emilia is either 2nd or 3rd since i know Ram is on that top 5 list. I am personally hoping Rem gets a type of compensated happiness as a mistress or 2nd wife when she finally wakes up cause hell Subaru is basically dating a potential queen of the kingdom making him king by marriage and is entitled to a mistress or harem and what not.

I would probably be more like Krato's level of rage or probably Asura from Asura's wrath in terms of wanting to get Rem back even if it meant becoming a monster/demon that represents all 7 sins to save her. forget long range magic just give me physical power, luke cage unbreakable level skin, max speed, and Wolverine healing factor and I'm all set. reason for healing factor even with luke cage unbreakable skin is simple. there's more than one way to damage an opponent especially if they specialize in internal damage like the hyuga's gentle fist or poisoning someone by gas or liquid.

so if you were in this scenario how would you go about developing yourself in trying to save Rem from her comatose state?

i keep hearing rumors of a season 2 from people though I'm not sure where they are getting that info from since right now we have a spin off called Zero something or other.
