Road to Boruto DLC

okay to those who still have their Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 game and weren't impatient enough to either sell it or give it away CC2 has announced new DLC content titled Road to Boruto. basically it's a game retelling of Boruto Naruto the movie. now from the looks of it looks like those of you who failed to pre-order and didn't get Boruto and Sarada are getting a 2nd chance at them. looks like Kinshiki and Momoshiki will be the first movie characters to be apart of the selectable cast. no Last scenario DLC to play through and no confirmation on any other new characters to play as or even confirmation on showing other Naruto characters fully grown or other new gen ninja's being selectable.

why now? there could be a lot of reasons. one the anime is almosy over but there's rumor after the Naruto and Sasuke we may get to see the so called "Blank period" as everyone seems to call the time skip mostly based on the 3 hiden novels from what I was told.

two it could just be that the English dub of Boruto Naruto the movie will come out sometime before or after the DLC release as a promotion.

three it could also be a what many would call a sad attempt to see if they can get people to read the Boruto Manga by Ikemoto. I only say Ikemoto cause as it says in the book Kishimoto is just supervisor. he is neither the artist or the author of that spin off to which even then Kishimoto is likely not doing that either since a lot of his attention is bringing his new manga to life to see whether he'll be a one hit series wonder or not.

that's 3 from my guesses but business and sales wise 3 is a lot of reasons since other reasons somehow tie in under the fine print.


what do you all want from the DLC? now here's my thought I did see on the official website there was 2 blank slots for DLC and if this is one of 2 for 2017 then I am hoping that the add in more than just 2 and giving others a shot at owning Boruto and Sarada in the game since I at least want to see updates on the characters appearances from the last and Boruto Naruto the movie since CC2 is back on this for an extension of sorts. I would also like them to try and add in more new generation shinobi and see if they'd be willing to do a older Himawari just to make the set more complete since you can't her popularity when she came around cause then we got the excuse to see an Uzumaki family justu 2. 1 being from when Naruto does one with his parents. same for the Uchiha family and others who have parents in that roster.

I don't know if those of us who bought the season pass will get the new DLC for free or not so that's something many are still waiting to confirm so we'll see. for now any thoughts or hopes on this coming DLC on February 7, 2017? I guess that means I should get back on it and practice a bit more so I don't get my butt kicked in those modes.
